As World AIDS Day (1st December) approaches we explore the impact of HIV/AIDS in South Africa through the story of a woman who has dedicated her life to children orphaned by AIDS.

And we look ahead to the UN Climate Change conference (1-12 December, Poznan, Poland) where Panos London is supporting 40 journalists from 33 countries.

Sister Abigail Ntleko, a nursing sister, has spent much of her adult life caring for families with HIV and has adopted scores of children.  In a five-minute audio interview she talks about how she encourages them to confront the stigma around HIV and we meet Massy, one of her adopted children.

Media Hub | Climate Change Guide

Journalists and other media professionals can help tackle the impact of climate change by providing the public with good quality information.  But this information can be difficult to understand and even more difficult to explain to others. Our new climate change guide gives advice to journalists on how to report the issue.

Events | UN Climate Change Conference (Poznan, Poland)

Panos London, as part of the Climate Change Media Partnership, is supporting 40 journalists from 33 developing countries to attend and cover this important two-week conference at which negotiations on the follow-up agreement to the Kyoto Protocol will take place.
