The cell phone business is thriving in Uganda and small traders are taking advantage of increased demand. Many believe the information technology sector can provide opportunities for poorer people. But what are women getting out of the ICT boom?

Machrine Birungi visited Sophie Nansubuga who swapped her vegetable business for a cell phone kiosk in Kampala.
